THE STUDIO

We are super proud of the space we've created, so why not show it off? Our aim from the beginning has been to create a welcoming atmosphere filled with comfort for both our clients and artists. If the environment is a positive one, then it allows for the creativity and artistic expression to flow.

To make sure you feel right at home, we've equipped our spacious treatment area with professional tattoo beds that will allow you to get tattooed for longer periods of time. Despite having an open plan layout, if you prefer privacy we have room dividers for isolating each station. We also offer tea, coffee and fresh fruit free of charge during your tattoo session. Lastly, you can always find nice music and good vibes during your time with us.

FAQ

Get in touch with us via email with a brief description of what you wish to get tattooed, where on your body, what sort of size, and any other info you might find relevant. Please inform us if you have any health related concerns or any special needs.

We will then reply with a rough quote, potential dates for your tattoo appointment and for a face to face consultation beforehand if necessary.

Tell us what dates suit you best and confirm your tattoo appointment with a non-refundable deposit, which you can transfer online or pay in-store. This deposit gets credited to the total of your tattoo at the end of your session. If you need to change your bookings please let us know 48 hours in advance, otherwise you might lose your deposit!

Generally, your artist will only begin to draw after a non-refundable deposit has been made and a consultation has taken place. In most cases your design will be finished on the day of your session, and final tweaks can be made on the spot before starting. Please consult with your artist once the consultation is done, as each design has different needs and each artist has a different method for designing your tattoo.

Before: Go to bed early the night before your tattoo session and come well rested, completely sober and with a full stomach. This is your chance to eat that extra 5 pieces of toast and 3 bowls of Corn Flakes. 48 hour cancellation/rescheduling policy applies. Don't be late! Tardiness on client’s behalf will be taken from their allocated time and being more than 15 minutes late could lead to cancellation. No children under 16 allowed. Your friends won't be allowed to be by your side so please don't bring them unless necessary!

During: Be as relaxed as possible. Bring headphones and zone out, read a book, get to know your artist or just breathe and meditate. Do not talk on the phone. Do not bring your best 17 friends, just bring one if necessary. They will have to stay in the waiting area anyway. Snack as much as you want (sugary snacks work best) and stay hydrated. Take as many breaks as you need, but not more than enough. Don't touch your tattoo!

After: Leave your tattoo wrapped until you're in the safety of your home. Wash your hands, take off the wrapping and wash your tattoo gently with warm water and a bit of soap. Tap it dry with a clean cloth or paper towel. Apply a thin layer of aftercare cream, (just enough for your tattoo to be moisturised). Applying too much cream can lead to longer healing times. Before going to bed, wrap your tattoo up as it might still be very fresh. It should be fine to leave it unwrapped from the following morning on. After the first few days your tattoo will naturally start to peel or scab, do not pick or scratch it. Clean it and cream it two or three times a day for two weeks. During this time avoid exercise, do not take baths, go swimming, use saunas or wear tight fitting clothes. By the third week your tattoo should look settled and healed. If at this point you feel the tattoo needs a second pass, let us know and we'll book you in for a free touch-up.

PRICES

£80 tattoos - a.k.a minimum charge

Pretty much all of those tattoos that are just a square inch or two, single needle, single colour, on arms or legs. We're talking about love hearts, stars, simple geometric shapes, small words or initials, simple symbols, etc.

£80 to £100 tattoos

This is the price range for those tattoos that seem simple but have that bit of extra something that makes us say 'hmmm dunno, not really a minimum charge tattoo...' Simply put, they usually require more substantial filling/colouring in, are more intricate, are placed on a trickier body part, have more than one colour, longer or more than one word, etc, etc.

£100 to £250 tattoos

The range starts getting wider and so does the ambiguity! Tattoos in this range will definitely have a few colours and/or shading, different line weights, more detail and are roughly around 3 or 4 square inches. Or they can be simple design but bigger size. Or maybe a lot of detail but small in size. You get the point (we hope).

£250 to £400 tattoos

Things start getting real interesting at this range. There might be hints of realism here and there, or elaborate watercolour, damn good shading and decent sizes. It's safe to say from here on these are the tattoos that will make it to our permanent portfolios.

£400-£700 tattoos

We start approaching full day territory. A lot of colour, a lot of realism, a lot of intricacy, crazy designs, beautiful portraits, experimental placement, who knows how many needles, lunch breaks, Oreos to keep you going, call-in-sick-the-next-day-if-it's-not-on-a-weekend, heart to heart conversations with your artist, Uber ride back home.

£700+ tattoos

All of those tattoos that we wish we could do for you in one sitting but there are just not enough hours in the day. Sleeves, back pieces, chest pieces and the such. What dreams are made of, where real friendships begin.

AFTERCARE

SECOND SKIN HEALING:

Day of the tattoo: keep second skin wrapping for up to 3 days. During this time you don’t need to do anything else to your tattoo. Showering is ok, baths, swimming or soaking the tattoo isn’t. Avoid friction on the tattooed area and avoid exercise.

Following 1-3 days: Fluid under the wrapping can be expected and is completely normal. If there’s any discomfort or if the second skin comes off naturally before the 3rd day, give the tattoo a thorough clean, pat it dry and move on to the following stage.

4th day onwards: Slowly remove the second skin wrapping. Wash the tattoo thoroughly, pat it dry and apply a thin layer of tattoo aftercare cream up to 3 times a day.

Total healing should take between 2 and 4 weeks. Please email us a picture of your healed tattoo!

GENERAL HEALING:

Day of the tattoo: keep wrapped for 2 hrs. Remove film and wash the tattoo with warm water and mild soap. Rinse and pat dry with a clean towel. Let your tattoo breathe for a few hours and wrap again in cling film for the night.

Following 2-4 weeks: Wash the tattoo once or twice a day, pat it dry and apply a thin layer of tattoo aftercare cream. Rewrap only if necessary. Please avoid scratching, picking and/or touching your fresh tattoo. Avoid swimming, bathing and exercise for 2 weeks and keep your tattoo away from the sun.

Total healing should take between 2 and 4 weeks. Please email us a picture of your healed tattoo!
